Erin Sasse
Erin Sasse has been working in Government and Public Affairs for over 20 years. She is currently the Director of Government Affairs for the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District, where she oversees the State and Federal lobbying efforts of the District. Erin started her career working for several members of the California State Assembly both in Sacramento and in the Inland Empire region. Following her tenure in the California State Assembly, Erin worked for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in both in his State Administration and in various campaign capacities representing San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego and Imperial Counties. Following the re-election of Governor Schwarzenegger, Erin once again worked in Sacramento in the Schwarzenegger Administration as the Assistant Director for Legislative Affairs and Outreach at the California Lottery Commission. Then in the Schwarzenegger and Brown Administrations as the Chief of External Affairs for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. After living in Sacramento for several years, Sasse moved back to Southern California and began working for the League of California Cities. Erin served in this capacity for over 11 years as the Regional Public Affairs Manager for Riverside County. In her role as a Regional Public Affairs Manager for the League of California Cities, Erin Sasse worked with the 27 member cities in Riverside County providing advocacy and educations services. Throughout her carrier, Erin has been involved in government and politics at the state, local, and federal levels. Erin volunteers with the Crime Victims Alliance, which is a victim advocacy organization and currently serves as their Chair. She grew up locally in Rancho Cucamonga, attended UC Davis where she received her Bachelors in Political Science. She now lives in Riverside with her husband and their dog, Eleven.
